100% RECYCLING From Treeline Services Ltd
Treeline Services Limited is proud to promote the fact that we operate a 100% recycling policy. All woody material created by Treeline Services Limited is dealt with in one of three ways. Firstly, any materials less than 6 inches in diameter are converted into woodchip on site for ease of transport. It is chipped into our high-sided vehicles and transported to our premises in Dorking where it is tipped into our chip store which is capable of holding approximately 1,500 cubic metres on a solid concrete floor away from any water courses.Any woody material larger than 6 inches in diameter is cut into manageable sizes and loaded onto our vehicles and transported to our premises where it is stored in a confined area. This is stored here until it is processed through a much larger chipper and also converted into woodchip and also retained in our store. Some suitable timber is retained and converted into logs and sold separately by the ton bag.
All our woodchip is then transported 100 cubic metres at a time, to Slough Power Station and used as a bio fuel. Treeline Services Limited is one of a few companies registered to supply direct to Slough Power Station because we have the correct storage facilities.
Any other material such as stump grindings and rakings are mulched separately using a different machine, the mulch from this can either be incorporated into the biochip or used separately as a mulch.
All the above operations are monitored by The Environment Agency and we are licensed to carry these out under our Waste Management Licence and our Paragraph 21 Exemption Certificate. Please feel free to request copies of these.
Burning debris is not an acceptable practice in the modern world and Treeline Services Limited would always explore alternative methods of operations such as utilising modern machinery such as our tracked chipper or consider creating habitat stacking debris where possible.
As mentioned above, we do operate a 100% recycling policy which we have measures in place for recycling every item of equipment and all waste generated as part of our operation all of which keeps us ahead of our competition and makes us a more sustainable company.
